Two Trees

The tree of Life and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. I have often pondered the name of the latter. What does it mean?
I have reached a conclusion for now, but I am open for instruction.
The tree of the knowledge of good and evil.
The tree of the knowledge of right and wrong.
The tree of the knowledge of I’m right and you’re wrong!

It comes to me that this is like flying in the clouds by the seat of your pants when you should be flying by your instruments. When Adam died in Eden on that fateful day he could no longer hear that still small voice of guidance so he had to guess at what was right and what was wrong. Humanity has been under the bows of that tree ever since. But the born again hear His voice and follow. They are not left to their own devices. They feed at the tree that gives them their life. They take their daily instructions moment by moment and walk in the light as He is in the light.
Humanity without God measures and judges everything and everyone according to their list of what is right and wrong, or by their limited knowledge, or by their feelings. And church goers say, “If it’s not in the Bible I’m not doing it!” When daily instructions come for which there is no bible text what do they do? They guess. This is a belief that is fostered by fear of deception. This too can be at the wrong tree for they do not operate by listening.
Wouldn’t it be lovely to know what to do or what to believe instead of guessing to the best of our knowledge? Muttering our way through life from one mistake to another?
I think the tree of Life is symbolic of hearing Father, believing Him and following as He directs. There are a numbers of promises that support this. In this we stay out of trouble and we need not guess. Of course this requires quietness within and learning to wait. Jesus said that everything he said and did came from the Father (the tree of Life) He was the personification of the Sabbath 24/7. He was constantly at rest from his own words and works. He had no life of his own for it belonged to God. Is this what my life is like?

“If thou turn away thy foot from the sabbath, from doing thy pleasure on my holy day; and call the sabbath a delight, the holy of the LORD, honourable; and shalt honour him, not doing thine own ways, nor finding thine own pleasure, nor speaking thine own words:
Then shalt thou delight thyself in the LORD; and I will cause thee to ride upon the high places of the earth, and feed thee with the heritage of Jacob thy father: for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it. Isaiah 58:13&14

I believe that Father wants souls in the kingdom who have learned to listen and follow, not those who are good.

Yes, "hear and do" is the simple process of living in the Father, via faith in Jesus.

There are two ways we can do

(1) do using human power
(2) do using divine power

One of these cannot exist under the tree of life, the other tree allows for both.

The tree of function and dysfunction, allows for the Opposer to do as He wanted. He wanted to do all by himself, so the Father allowed for this by creating dysfunction (Isa 45:7)

And the Father left the earth and the sinning angels on it to themselves. Hence the earth was already in existence as a frozen water ball, with sinning angels in darkness because they wanted their own self empowered power.

Many confuse evolution with creation, thinking God is creating earth along with other things.
Instead the Son and the Father via the grand medium of the Holy Spirit all work together to finely tune a universe allowing for function to co-exist with dysfunction. The only dysfunction I find in Genesis 1:2 is darkness the Hebrew word "choshek"

Question: Why was it necessary for sinless creatures to be created after the first creatures sinned?

Eze 28:17 Thine heart was lifted up because of thy beauty, thou hast corrupted thy wisdom by reason of thy brightness: I will cast thee to the ground, I will lay thee before kings, that they may behold thee.

The other reigners (kings) who reigned other sinless domains beheld the Opposer, so why was it necessary to create sinless humans who never saw sinning first hand?

Answer: It allows for sinning creatures to show other sinless creatures what happens when sinning creatures go head to head with sinless creatures for the first time in a universe with both function and dysfunction in it.
